She is a first-time MLA from Tuni Assembly Constituency of East Godavari District. She represents Telugu Desam Party. She won the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election . Divya was born in Tuni and is a housewife. She completed her MBA from Osmania University in 2012. Earlier, she did her engineering in Electronic and Communication, also from Osmania University in 2006. Divya won the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election from Tuni Assembly Constituency. representing Telugu Desam Party. She defeated Dadisetti Raja of YSRCP by a margin of 15,177 votes.
